Immigration
A safer, more efficiant way
A significant problem our party feels the need to address is immigration. We need a serious revision of the system in order to find the most efficient way to allow people to gain citizenship legally, safely and effectively. Our party believes that a wall is not our answer, but instead a deeper look into the immigration system and what we can do to ensure that the people looking for citizenship are given the support to do so. Our resources have better places to be than pointing fingers and building a wall, especially because a study done directly by the Center for Migration Studies (CMS) states that over 60% of illegal immigrants are simply overstaying their visas, NOT crossing the southern border. This statistic provided in a report released earlier this year proves that we are better off reforming the system to identify what we can do to prepare these people for gaining their citizenship. A wall fails to address the actuality of our immigration issues, which is exactly why we as a people need to step up and begin fixing the system, which is what our party plans to do. Unfortunately, many immigrants are fleeing corruption from their own countries, and until their homeland improves, we will continue to see a steady flow of migrants into the country. Our goal is to do as much as we can to make this process easier, but still secure, by beginning to legalize more DACA recipients and re-establish what it truly entails to be a visa holder. In a study done by the Pew Research Center demonstrated that the 14% of the U.S population is made up of all diffrent races and of classified and unclassified citizens, the major part that makes up to population is due to illegal immigration, not only from Mexico, but also from other places such as places trying to flee their country in hope of asylum and sometimes the U.S doesn’t see that they are seeking asylum, so they push them away, and their only other way of getting into the country without the documents and Legal Papers is the “Illegal Way.” So in order to try to cooperate with that, we should think about the re-thinking of the system that we have as a whole, and try to understand that there are people everywhere that have and want freedom for all. So a little rethinking and a little revising of the system could fix a problem so simple, there is no need for discrimination and harrasements, all we need a little fix and for that, we don’t need a wall becasue that just blocks away the problem when the problem can always be solved.
